Did you see Harold Parker (PickUps Plus) was a hero on I-10 yesterday? He sacrifices his new Dodge Dually to stop a high speed chase. His picture is in today chronicle.

I hope your timing in Houston misses the Friday rush
hour(s) traffic.
Be safe and have a good trip.

We're leaving here at 3AM Friday morning, so we should probably hit Houston around 8PM

How did you driveway party work out on your truck last weekend. I have one this Thursday evening at my house, then again Saturday for my own truck. I'm sure the grill will be hot for Saturdays venture.
Lawdog,
I damn sure can be!!! I am PM'ing you my cell number. Call me when you hit Sugarland, and I will head up Hwy 36. We can pick a meeting spot then!
Brad,
NO WAY DUDE!! I caught the story on the news this morning, but all I saw was the truck the guy running was driving. Man, was it ever messed up!! I need to call Harold and make sure he is ok. Maybe he will get a medal or something!!! No place but Texas, guys!!!

He might get a medal from the public, but I wonder what his insurance company is going to think. I sent Harold an email this morning and he responded his truck is messed up, but he seem to be fine.
Sorry Brad.
Driveway party came out great! James was a big help and with a little "Oberhoff" mfg. we got the track bars on also. Bad thing though, my steps mount in the same place the front brackets of the bars did, so a little more "Oberhoff" mfg. got it all to fit. You will see!! So, with the new springs, shocks, and track bars, she rides smoother and the power is instant now. No slop being picked up before launching. So much so, that there is a particular maroon and silver 6.0 in Needville that got to see the black tailgate, not once, but twice!! I will have to send him a pic of the front of my truck since that is the only way he will be able to see it. I gave him a head start both times, and then just took him, handidly!! Now, guess who wants a chip??? lol!!
Life is sweet!!

It will be on the HAPS Gallery soon. Mike Kelton had
a experience at his house yesterday he is dealing with today.
I just talked with Kent W, he said he will try to
stop by and lend a hand. Stop on by if you are out cruising around.
I have to work Saturday morning until noon. Then depending on lawdog's timing, we will just have to see...Maybe I can pull him away for an extended road trip??
