I will holler at James (JMDx4) and see if he is available. He lives right there in Rosenberg. You and he have something in common. He is a Harris County Deputy.

Law,
We have another member going to meet with us. James (jmd4x4) said he likes a place called South Texas Barbque, and I like Schultz's. So you get to take your pick. I don't think that either way you can loose. South Texas is an order from a menu and Schultz's has a steam table, and you can see all the meats as they get cut and if they look good or not. If you feel like it, about 20 mins down Hwy 59 is a Hinze's Barbeque truckstop, and my folks really like that place. We could all meet up somewhere and take one vehicle down there if that perks your interest also.
What time are you wanting to meet up? I do have to work till noon, then I will be free. Maybe 12:30 or so??

Lawdog,
Just a word of caution - if a guy named Mike shows up, don't talk to him much. He is kinda like a stray dog, you know, once you feed them they won't go away. Well, Mike is the same way, once you talk to him, you can't get rid of him.
I think I have eaten at Schultzes a couple of times. Isn't that the one you take on the street you take to get out to the interstate? You don't want to let the guy who has never eaten at the places decide 12:30 is great with me. The wife and mother in law are goin gto Richmond to eat at Sandy McGees , so I told them to have a good time, I want BBQ, and have friends to meet. Flip a coin or something, I have no preference.

I was thinking I may have met him at Discount tire last year when he was getting his truck ready to take to Sturgess and I was getting a tire replaced from driving through Houston, but upon reflection that was a Travis County deputy.
