HOW ABOUT VEGAS?

HOW ABOUT THIS IDEA?
SEMA (SPECIALITY EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURES ASSOC.) HAS THEIR INTERNATIONAL EXPO IN VEGAS EACH YEAR IN OCTOBER. I DON'T HAVE MY SCHEDULE WITH ME NOW, BUT WILL POST IT TOMMORROW. IF YOU'VE NEVER BEEN TO ONE, IT'S UNBELIEVABLE!!! EVERYTHING MADE OR DREAMED OF FOR THE AUTOMOTIVE AND TRUCK INDUSTRY IS THERE IN FLASH AND STYLE. THE INTERNATIONAL TIRE MANAFACTURES HAS THEIR EXPO CONCURRENTLY. I SPENT THREE LONG DAYS LAST YEAR AND DIDN'T SEE ALL OF IT AND CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS YEARS SHOW. IT IS SO BIG THAT IT TAKES UP THE ENTIRE LAS VEGAS CONVENTION CENTER AND TWO HOTEL CONVENTION CENTERS. ANYWAY THAT WOULD BE A TRIP TO HAVE A POWERSTROKE RALLY AT THE SAME TIME.
THINK ABOUT IT.

Re: HOW ABOUT VEGAS?

I have heard that most of the conventions held here are not for the normal people and just for the owners of company's ect. I would be more interested on the meeting of some of the people with whom I send these letters and chat on the problems and look at the trucks we have. I'm not saying that I would be interested in the show, just would like to talk to others with like interests. Just my .02. However all are welcome to Vegas and bring money.

It is said if you sit by the river and watch the water flow by long enough, your enemies will pass by. This I believe to be true. It is also possible to watch your loved ones pass by as well.

Re: HOW ABOUT VEGAS?

Only problem that I see with having the rally at the same time is....who would stay at the rally? The SEMA show is unbelievable and would be very tough to leave. It takes most people 3 days to see almost everything at this show.

Re: HOW ABOUT VEGAS?

The SEMA (speciality equipment manufacturers association) is one that is for the trade only but that does not stop anyone that wants to go. Lots of folks just know someone in the automotive trades or make up a name to register under. I send myself every year, as I look for products to sell on the web @ 4unique.com. Here is a link to the SEMA site http://www.sema.org/show/semashow/save30
Plenty of info here about exhibtors, seminars and such. If you are a fan of auto racing, many of the top NASCAR, NHRA, WOO, etc. drivers appear in sponsers booths to hand out signed pictures.
If you are a performance nut and like to see the latest in the market place this is the place to see it.
Oh yes, Ford a huge booth their mainly pushing the car stuff but the also have some SUV and truck displays too.
