Kerville Folk Festival

I'll be at the Kerville Folk [music] Festival this weekend.

I hope to be able to stay awake all night Friday night and Saturday night, and do the entire "campfire scene". This is my third try, and in the two previous years I've never made it past about 2 a.m. Maybe if I drink less beer?

My stepson is a real hippy with a Martin acoustic guitar and he's a pretty good picker. He spends the entire 16-or-so days out there, and makes it to daylight every night - just visiting various campfires and jammin' with the other music performers.

So if any of you other PSD nuts are there, after the stage show ends about midnight, look around the campfires for a sleepy old guy who can't sing a note!

I met a patient who himself and his son played at campsites. They move all over the east cost. One of them played the Martin. He told me all about it. Very nice guy, and he drove a F250.
