MI, Ohio, Indiana residents...We need a rally too!

Do we have enough interest to have a PSD rally for the midwest? Somewhere in central lower Michigan where Mich, Ohio & Indiana come together. I am sure we could find a spot and the support if we tried.

Who has organized this and can help?

Why not just make the pilgrimage to Louisville and see the birthplace? You can all stay at my place....Oh, wait the wife says no. Seriously, Louisville is a great city with alot of other attractions.

Bob-As selfish as this sounds, I have made so many 6-7 hour rides in the last 6 months I need a break.

Also the wife is due in July, that coupled with an offer in on a new(to me) house on 5 acres that needs total makeover, toss on OT at the new job...and the feasibilty for me to make VA or Kentucky is out of the question this year.

But...If "we" the PSD owner's of America(PSDOA)or the Super Duty Owner's of America(SDOA)[probably get more members inviting all SDs],
could actually establish an honest to goodness club, have F-D.com the Official Website , Ford would probably recognize it as they do the Rustang(sorry Jason),T-Bird, Model A, Fairlane, Galaxie, SHO, Probe, etc, owners and their clubs and we could have a meet right at World Headquarters or in Dearborn elsewhere. There are many car shows at WHQ all summer long that Ford allows to take place in their parking lot. What do they have to lose? It is free advertising when people are driving down the expressway and see 50+ Super Duties the curiousity gets the best of them and they have to pull off and see what is up.

If that were to come about, then we could arrange annual and/or East/West meets that meet at KTP(and arrange group tours)/Mexico(I love Tequila) or at Navistar(sorry gasser guys)for a tour.

Depends on where in Michigan you live I guess. It takes me 2 1/2 hours just to get out of Michigan. I am roughly 110 miles north of Detroit. I am guesstimating that it would take closer to 11-12 hours to Virgina. It is an 8 hour trip to Pittsburgh from here.

Just mapped the VA Rally from my house on Yahoo. 588 miles, 10hr 52min. So it woudl still be 8. With a pregnant wife & two Beagles...I don't think so. I was just thinking of a surprise trip on the wife

I would be up for a PSD rally around hear. Va is 9 hours from Detroit. I went to college at Virginia Tech which is 2 hours west of Natural Bridge. Just to far to drive when you can't take any days off. All my vacation is being used on my wedding in September. Let me know if anything gets organized.

Beagle1, Count me in if it is in Nothern OH or southern MI. I live in Southeastern MI south of Detroit and VA is a little drive for us "Northerner's". Maybe southern/middle MI around Dundee? Or off I-75 in Monroe Co.? Maybe post a vote with some dates/locations?
