Re: THE MUD at the Buck see Photos

Where is this at? Buck, PA? What is that close to?

Sounds like yet another dumb thing to do with my truck. Or my bronco.

Re: THE MUD at the Buck see Photos

Johnboy2, The Buck is 10 miles south of Lancaster PA, in Lancaster county. Find the Susquehanna river on your map, and follow it down to Columbia PA. Take 30 east to 272 south, and you will find it at the intersection of 272 and 372. The pulls are a mile north of the intersection on 272. - Mel.

Re: THE MUD at the Buck see Photos

Why can't i find anything like this in Florida?? No tractor or truck pulls, mud racing ect down here. Kinda boring huh? Only thing i have seen for truck pulls is the Big Rigs Pulling Series finals at Mesa Park in Felsmere Fl. Definately will be there. There total schedule is at: http://www.bigrigspulling.com/
They will be at the Buck August 19th. If you havent seen these trucks pull, You HAVE TO GO!!! It is awesome to watch! Ever seen a semi truck with 4-turbos, burns 10 gallons of fuel/minute and produces 2,000+ HP? They have 2 video clips with sound of these trucks pulling at: http://www.metzgertrucking.com/motorsports.htm

Re: THE MUD at the Buck see Photos

David when you go in through the gate stay straight. See if you can get a spot near the water tank they use to was off the mud trucks. Just north of the tank is where we all pitted last pull. I will look for your truck and trailer.

Re: THE MUD at the Buck see Photos

mjstef, Sorry to hear your in a "redneck free" zone I guess I take for granted living 10 minutes away from the worlds only stadium built specifically for tractor pulling. The Buck has been a part of our lives since me and my wife were dating in the early 80's. Now that we have kids old enough to enjoy it, it is even better. Just wish I could quit blowing a hundred bucks a weekend there! I know where you will be Tom and David, and I'm going to see if I can't finagle my way back there so I can get good seats before they open the gate. Heck most of the pullers have blankets duct taped to the top row so it's almost impossible to get up there without breaking into a trot at the ticket booth. - Mel.
