The time has come to start off the year with a get together. A time to meet new people and to admire trucks and talk Mods. Darryll Darnell has opened his property to our club for a Bon Fire. There is plenty of room for trucks, trailers and campers for those that would like to camp the night. Bring B-BQ's, food, Drink of choice, Dry Kindling, warm clothes and Plenty of matches.

Directions:
Take I-5 North to exit 212 and take a left at the end of the off ramp.
Go 11.3 miles, After you cross the first bridge, your technically on the island, Stay to your LEFT and follow East Camano Drive to the next stop light and turn right on Cross Island Road (you can only make a right at this stop light, and if you get to Camano Plaza, you have gone to far)
Go 1.9 miles to the top of the hill and turn left on Camano Ridge Road (you will see a large log cabin to your left just before the turn.
Go 1.7 miles to “House Place” rd, it is a dirt road, take a right (the only way you can turn. This is after an s-turn and an RV park.

We are also planning (but haven't completely made arangements yet) on haveing a dyno run in Monroe the next morning. It would be really cool to have a convoy of Ford trucks going from Camano Island to Monroe for those who wish to camp that night.

Here's the deal, GOS will pay $50 to the 94-97 Powerstroke that dyno's with the highest hp and torque, $50 to the 99 up with the highest hp and torque, and if either of those happen to be running a Western Diesel chip, we will up it to $100 each. THIS IS RUNNING ON #2 ONLY, NO GAS!
Now, if you have the lowest hp and torque 94 to 97 we will give you a $50 GOS gift certificate to help you out. Same deal for the 99 up. JS.
Is fishing open off of Camano?? I normally fish rivers but I purchased 2 downriggers a few years to fish Sockeye and the rest of the year they just sit idle. Any good blackmouth or bottom fishing in that area thats open around that time?? [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif[/img]
Blackmouth opened on the 1st, but fishing has been slow, at least here in the San Juans. There was a derby last weekend and there were several 20# + fish caught, but overall the number of fish caught was low. JS.
OK I finnaly got ahold of Lenny at Dyno-Mite Diese Performance. The runs are going to be $25.00 for HP and and $40.00 for HP and Torque. For those who want to run their own trucks that is fine but Lenny will be rideing shotgun with you. I plan on getting Pizzas and pops for everyone depending on how many people show up. Please let me know how many plan on being there for the dyno weather or not you plan on going to the bon fire.
Iluvsteelies, I'm sorry I didn't respond to your fishing questions sooner but I'm not sure if it is. Bring your poles and we'll find out. I believe it is just in the sound so if there is fishing open in the sound then I believe you should be good. That would be cool to cook up some fresh cought fish at the fire. Ok for those of you comming up from the south and want to convoy in together we are going to meet at Donna's Truck Stop off exit 202. We are going to meet at 10:15 for those who want to eat some breakfast and are planning on rollin' out at 10:45ish. We will be running CB channel 5 for those who have CBs.
