Yes we are doing this again.

Ok Here is the info.

North Texas Power Stroke Association Shiloh Ridge trip:

It's official now and the weekend of April 11-13, 2003 is the date. This is the same weekend they are having thier TRUCK RODEO, Information about the off-road park can be viewed here

Shilo Ridge

The camping slots fill up quick from what I'm told. There is Full Hookups and just camping spots with water.So, if you plan on a spot for your trailer or tents call now and cement your spot. Also, tell her your with the NTXPSA so she can put everyone together. The 800 number is 432-3965.

Kelly will take your reservations and can answer questions. If you get the voice mail leave your information and she will call you back. You can also go to their web site (above) and get their e-mail address.

If you plan on staying at a motel, the closest is Weston Inn in Rusk Texas (10 miles from the park). The number is 903-683-8383. Also, mention your w/NTXPSA and they will try to group everyone together.

The cost is $35 per truck for the weekend, Since it is the Weekend of the Truck Rodeo, There is Events. If you plan on entering the various events (mud bogs, hill climbs etc) there is an additional fee. Also, if you enter an event, you must wear a helmet...geez, hard core.

Events,
$10 to enter one or ALL events.

Here are the Events,

1) Sand Drag (Packed Sand, with a Tree)
2) Barrel Race
3) Trail Run
4) Mud Bogg
5) Log Climb

During the day food can be purchased from vendors (set up at the park) or we can bring our own. Barley sodas are ok but must be in cans..no bottles. If everyone wants, we can chip in and bring the fixins for a BBQ (burgers,dogs,etc).

This should be a great weekend and I look forward to seeing everyone. I plan on leaving Friday the 11th. So, for anyone leaving Friday, we should all convoy down together.

BTW.. if your coming down hwy 69 to the park, there is no signs. when you get close look for a white icecream truck parked on the side of the road with a red arrow. This is where you'll want to turn.

We go the same weekend as thier Semi-Annual Truck Rodeo.
With the Events and stuff it is TONS of fun.

With all the crew cabs, I think there will plenty of room if ya just want to ride. Although, ridin' shotgun puts ya in the hook up seat and ya get kinda muddy. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif[/img]

You are gonna be limited to pretty much those PJ's if ya go w/38's on your 16" wheels. There's not much of a selection on tires for 16" wheels once you go past 37's. That's why I had to trade my 16's for 16.5's.

BTW,

Got some pics of the 39.5's today before the sleet hit. I'll post 'em tomorrow night. I think it looks just about right. This was confirmed today when Karen drove it to work and one of her co-workers said it looked obnoxious. Yeap I know it about the 16's wheel.

Can't really get 16.5 now,

Actally I would like to get some 17" wheels,

Seems like there is a far selection in those also.

40" Goodyear MT/R's would be nice [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] But only in 17" size. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img] same as the 37" MT/R's.

Might have to stick with 37's, not sure yet.
