The Mt.Airy Jimmy Cone has a car show 1st and 3 rd sat. of the month. It starts a 7:00 pm and goes until the last car leaves. The other reason I thought this would be a good spot is there is plenty of parking. I did take a look at the bank parking lot across the street from the Jimmy Cone in Damascus, and there is plenty of parking there also. I do not care either way. I just thought that the car show might be a plus. You all let me know what ya want to do. I won't be able to chat with you as I am off to O.C. for the week. When I get back I will check to see what you all have said, and then we will pick a date. You all have a good week! 555
Well you guys missed a great time at the buck.Mel and his wife and kids were great.we saw a group of diesel dodges and one psd pull the psd took 2nd the dodge that won was a manual and was chiped nice runinng truck.the psd was an 96 auto and stock.will have photos posted soon. Now lets get to work on getting the md and pa guys to gether
Thanks David, we had a good time with you too. I'm looking forward to seeing your photos. For the rest of you, Dave and I spoke a lot about our ideas. I think the Jimmy Cone thing is great, and there is a lot of potential to do something at the Buck again. There is a place within 300' of the tractor pulls that is just like a Jimmy Cone, and they sponsor what they call "Cruises" which is the same thing as what we are talking about. My wife even had the idea that we might want to ask the Buck Motorsports park to sponsor a Ford-Diesel night. I'll look into these and see what posibilities their are. I think this tread is getting a little long, so I'd like to suggest that we start a new one on the Jimmy cone thing, and maybe a new one on the PA Rally idea. If everybody is in agreement, then lets put this one to rest so we don't have to go to page 3 all the time. - Mel.

Mel and David, Sorry I didnt make it. Long time friend called last week - said he was driving thru and wanted to stop by on SAT nite. Had not seen him in a long time! What stinks, ( could use a better word), is that at 4 pm Sat afternoon he called and said that he could not make it!!!! Sooooo, I am really POed that he did not come and that he called too late for me to make it to the buck!!!!
The Jimmy cone thing sounds good - hopefully we can make it there! I can find Damascus or MT Airy.
