johndeerebones,
You should try to make it to our bonfire on Sat. and Tubzz will take you for a ride. He might even scare you. Anyway if you can make it we are going to have a good time.
Chris

Well now that everyone is home, I may make it up for a little bit tonight. Not sure, but I would like to see everyone and get a ride in Terry's truck.
If I see ya I see ya, if not sorry.

Well, can I ask about what happened at the bonfire? Is anyone interested in coming to the pig roast/campout in October? I talked to Keith and he would like to see at least 25 people set to come before he buys the pig! The way it is now, the pig roast is not going to happen but the campout is. Let me know.

I have sent both you and Keith emails asking for times and directions and have yet to hear from either of you. Yes, there is some interest on our part, but without being able to tell the members when and where, I can't even begin to give you a number of who will be attending........

I cannot answer why, but I have not recieved any email from you. I checked my information on this site and the email address is good. I know Keith has changed his email but he still had his old one too as he changed his internet provider. I do know he is out of town this week.
As far as the pig roast goes, yes it does hinge on the amount of people that are willing to state they are coming. That is people, not the amount of trucks. The action is starting around 9:00am on Saturday October 15th at Forest City Diesel in St. James Mo. I know how to get there myself, but not being from that area I don't know all the names of the roads leading to his shop.
Basically you travel down I-44 until you reach the St. James exit which is exit 195 if I am not mistaken. You turn to the right after stopping at the end of the off ramp and travel to the first stop light (about a block or less) and turn right. You travel about a mile or a little more down the frontage road and the road makes a bend to the left. After you are around the bend for a short distance you make a right on County Road 1000. Travel about a mile and a half and Forest City Diesel is on the left side of the road. The shop can be seen from the road and is off of the road about 100 yards. The house is just East of the shop and closer to the road. There is a sign up for the shop.
I hope this helps and you all can make it. We would love to pull this off and there is plenty of room for anyone with a camper or tent who wants to spend the night. He does have some power hookups for the campers in case someone wants to know that info. Please try my email again as I have had some computer problems as of late Put Pig Roast in the subject area.

we ran about 3/4 of a tank of fuel though the truck giving rides .had to park it when it got hot and smellie.
then we had cake and beer or maybe it was beer and cake.
and then set buy the fire.
so,is that 25 people total or you need 25 of us to come on top of the gateway Chapter?

Hey Terry, it is 25 people total. To be honest with you I don't have a head count yet of the others coming from our side I would guess we would end up with ten or so. That IS a guess at this time. You all come on by in a big group and you would outnumber us!
The bonfire sounds like it was a lot of FUN!

I sent you an email, but will post it here as well incase you don't get the email.
I sent out an email to the club asking that they respond by today, so I could give you a head count for planning purposes. We have 9 people who have committed to coming.
Chuck

Chuck, I sent a reply to your email. I hope the amount is going to top the 25 needed. but I don't know yet. The weekend is still on though. It may be without the pig though. If that happens, we still will have a good bbq for everyone. Anyone can bring something with them too if they want

Thanks for the input Chuck. We are looking forward to all of you that are coming. It looks like the weather is going to hold out for us if the long range forecast is correct
