So what is the news on the Smokin' in the Smokies event this year? Is there gonna be one since DP moved?

Smokin in the Smokies will be held April 10th thru 12th 2008. There was not enough time for me to get everything ready for a Fall smokin.

I will post an offical event thread as I get more confirmations of event details.

Alright, luckily I was the second on the Dyno before it got shut down. Let us know what's happenin with it! Thanks for the reply.

All know as of right now is the dyno day will be on Saturday and it's $75 for 3 runs that goes to DPM. First there,first on sign up.

We will doing our customer appreciation day on a seperate day Looks like Thursday or Friday.

This will be a 3 day event this time,so look for alot of things going on all 3 days.

Ok, so they will be charging for the dyno this year?

Every year we do the event different from the year before. This is co-sponsored, so this is what we decided to do this time. There were too people not happy that they could not get on the dyno. I did not witness this, but some have said that people were making changes and tweaking on dyno day taking longer then usual on the dyno. This will not happen this time. We are going to take one of the days to be a designated day where DP customers can have Jody do some tweaking for them prior to Saturday. This will be our customer appreciation day and there will be no charge for Jody to do your tweaking. The only thing you will have to do is pay DPM for their time. That price has not been determined. We want to have as many people dyno as possible on Saturday. This event has grown to be very large. It will be our 5th Smokin. It will be held at the same campground as last year. We are expecting it to be triple the attendants from last year. This why he had to make it a 3 day event. All the event details I will get ironed out asap and I will get them posted.
