The Southern CAlifornia Power Strokes (SoCAPS) are celebrating their 5th Anniversary with a huge meeting and truck events.
The meeting and events will be on February 10, 2008 (Sunday) at Sunrise Ford in Fontana, CA.
Some of the fun includes lunch, dyno testing, a skill driving course, sponsors/vendors, a raffle, a show & shine competition, and a display and presentation by the Ford Factory 2008 Super Duty Tour team.
Last year on a rainy day, the 4th Anniversary event was attended by 120+ people and 60+ trucks! We anticipate a better turn out this year (rain or not)!

As of this morning we have 63 trucks and 142 people committed to attend!!!!
Last weekend was Super Bowl Sunday, this weekend is going to be Super Duty Sunday!!!
This is going to be the Super event of the year!!!! If you have any interest in Super Duty diesels, this is the event to attend!
There are people coming from as far away as Arizona!! Over night dry camping is available at the event...so, bring your RV and spend the night!! Sit around the camp fire and swap diesel stories and make new friends!! Then sign up early for the dyno, Shine & Shown, and/or the Skill Driving Course!!

I was impressed by one of our members who won his class in the Shine & Show Competition and then went out and played in the dirt on the Skill Driving Course!!
An other member put down 620 HP on the dyno with a 7.3L!!
Lunch was outstanding!!
Looks like the final court was right around 80 trucks and about 185 people!! The guys from the Ford Factory Super Duty Tour Team 2008 both said it was the biggest event of this kind they had ever attended!! I believe those of you who attended were part of the biggest one day Ford Super Duty Diesel event ever held nationwide!!
