Re: TTPA 8000# Diesel SLP pulling schedule and rules

Are they saying that we must sit in our trucks when they are warming up before the pull?

[ QUOTE ]

d. Driver may not leave vehicle with engine running.

[/ QUOTE ]

So what is considerd to be aftermarket? Is a ATS, or Suncoast?

[ QUOTE ]

b. After market transmissions or transfer cases are not permitted.

[/ QUOTE ]

Anyone know where to get a blanky for my tranny?

[ QUOTE ]

e. All trucks must have Safety transmission blankets: (SFI. SPEC. 4.2), must have SFI. Transmission Blanket on Automatic transmissions or, SFI. Steel bell-housings.

[/ QUOTE ]

Does this kill switch need to be a ring or just a switch? Will killing the fuel pump work?

Re: TTPA 8000# Diesel SLP pulling schedule and rules

id say they want an air shut off. The psd can however be shut off very effectivly withe electronics by killing the idm.

Stock style tranny mods to the tranny should be ok

I read your signature and don't recall seeing you had swapped the 7.3 for a cummins or a duramax. Or maybe your talking about 1st and 2nd place out of the Fords, which would put you at 10th 11th behind all the cummins and duramaxs.
Maybe I should just start making outrageous claims that I get 1st and 2nd place all year to get my post count up.

Re: TTPA 8000# Diesel SLP pulling schedule and rules

Well the closest pull to me is about 2 hours away so I dont think I will be making many of them. If I read correctly I can pull in 2 events before I need all the safety equipment right?

WOW, easy killer. No I don't need a post count. Does a high post count make you look cool? I must have missed that one.
Sorry to reck your idea but my parents don't pay for my truck. Is there something wrong with a "kid" being overpaid and working hard to get what he has? If anybody pays for my truck it's my wife.
I don't consider myself arrogant just a little cocky, thanks for the complimant though.
I am glad you pull for fun. If I drove a Ford that is all I would pull for too.
Did you pull with the EMTPA? I have seen that sled before, that thing needs some work. How many hooks did you have?
Maybe next time I see ya I will buy you a beer. And we can discuss putting a 12 valve in that Ford of yours.

JUST FOR FUN trying to more of the Ford guys to show us what they got.
