Two 4x4 Pulls in West VA
Friday night I learned how NOT to get out of the hole! I tried to leave easy to save the clutch, and got under the turbo.
The crowd was heckling me, shouting " What are you afraid of?!"
I think they were disgruntled Powerstroke owners, who were afraid to get their tires dirty.
I rehooked, and went 255',8". Good enough for 5th place, and a $20 bill! Four other "Mitchellized" Cummins took the top 4 spots.
I've got it on video, as well as Daves pull, and the 3 top finishers.
My tires were smoking instead of digging in. It should be fun next year with real tires, surprising everyone who thinks this truck is a dog!
Sat. night was a disaster with a short track and only 99 feet.I pulled 5th, and there was about 15 trucks behind me at 11:30 P.M. We took off right after I pulled. Got home at 6:00 A.M. 99 doesn't seem like much, but 2 trucks didn't break 75 feet. Tires were smoking the whole way! HARD CLAY!
Waiting to here what happened at the Buck.
