Wyoming Powerstroke Association meet @ Wyo Tech in Laramie.. Anyone interested?

A representative from Wyo Tech. has informed me our groups (Wyo. Powerstroke Assc. & Colorado Powerstroke club) and anyone else interested for that matter, could tour their facility some Friday. However, we can't run on their Dyno's because of liability reasons w/ students being present. They are closed weekends so a Friday would be our best possibility.

I know it will be harder for people to get off work on Friday, but I thought I would throw this out and see if there was enough interest. If so, what up-coming Friday would work for everybody?

If we do get enough interest, I'll set something up. It should be a good time. Many of you have seen Wyo Tech. featured on "Trucks" TV w/Stacy hosting the show. Also, We would have plenty of fun places to get together after the meet there in Laramie.

Take care,
Lane

Almost thought you were talking to me. I was like ***......

I got a friend in WY that just finished WyoTech, but he doesn't have a PSD.

Shay,

I'm going to try and make it down for that one....maybe I can bring a few Wyoming Powerstrokers w/me.

The Dyno I was trying to set-up w/Wyo Tech isn't going to happen. They could only host a meet on a weekday and there are students in the building, so for liability reasons, they can't let us run on their dynos. However, they can give our group a tour of their facility if we want to do it on a Friday.

I'll post a thread seeing if anyone from our two groups would be interested in a Friday tour. If there is enough interest, I'll get it set up.

Take care,
Lane

HA you should try being a student there! Im really starting to see the dirt in there. As much money as im payin you would think that they would atleast show some respect to their people.

Lane,
That was my post in shayb's topic about Colorado meet this month. I do goto wyotech, about to sart diesel core in a couple weeks. Didnt get to make it out to the last wyopsd meet because I had the FLU. Did you have any trouble switching from Texas to Wyoming? So far I have been here for 3 months and sick the WHOLE time! I have tried doctors, moms advise and home remedies etc. Luckily I get to go home for a week next week but I will be back up on April 3rd.

Jeff

Re: Wyoming Powerstroke Association meet @ Wyo Tech in Laramie.. Anyone interested?

Jeff,

I didn't have any problems adjusting. Although, I grew up in Wyoming and still came back 2-3 times a year while I was in Texas. Hope to see ya at one of our future meets or at the Dyno in April.

Take care,

Lane

Re: Wyoming Powerstroke Association meet @ Wyo Tech in Laramie.. Anyone interested?

I haven't had any jelling problems but it has been a pretty mild winter so far. I'd bring it up. I don't know how ya do it....having a PSD and not driving it.

Ken,

It's the Colorado groups dyno. I think it's April 16th. You can see more on their thread in this forum.

Take care,
Lane
