How can you tell what version the tuner is? I found one for sale, but the seller doesnt know where to check for the version.

If you plug the tuner into the PCM port, the tuner will power up and then tell you which version it has installed.

If it's new in box and doesn't have a sticker on the tuner or box, it's probably 5.0; not updated but can be. Depends on whether the price is worth hassle of shipping it off.

I already spoke with superchips about it, if i didnt purchase it brandnew and dont have a reciept they wanted 125 bucks to update it, but wouldnt say what the update was exactly, i am assuming more power, different shifts. The tuner is on ebay, right now the bid is low, i am in now hurry to get one, i just put a bid out cause the price was low.
