Don't go bigger than 155's if you are keeping the stock turbo.. They are about all it can handle...

If/when I go to that size, they will be from River City Diesel.

I am in the same situation. #4 and #7 are completely shot. The rest are not performing within spec. Who's got the best injectors, warranties, and the same for glow plugs since they'll be in there. Any anything else to do to make the truck perform better while they are in there.

How do you know this. As you are driving down the road what symptoms do you experience that tells you it is the injectors?

If 155 is the biggest you recommend what are the stock size?

And, what does the 155 represent? The volume per hour? The nozzel size?

Oh, and one time I read someone mention that they swapped out #8 for a standard one that matched the others. Anyone know what that is refering to?

They were probably referring to the 7.3 engine. 7.3's use a different injector in cyl 8 to cut down on engine cackle heard in the passenger compartment. The 6.0's use the same injector no matter what cylinder it is in.

Yes, 4ceFed, it was refering to the 7.3L.

Thank you.

Do you know what makes this injector type quieter?

155 is cc's of fuel. The stock injector is a 135, although with the stock fuel system, you can't get 135 cc's out of it.........

Is that cc's per minute? Hour?

Now, this thread is about 6.0L. So, we would be talking about the engine in my 04 F-350.

You mentioned that with the stock fuel system I would not be able to get the full benefit of the stock injectors. Does that include when I use my Bully Dog system on one of the higher settings?

If, what is lacking in the stock fuel system?

AWGGGGG!!!!! Have I just hijacked this thread? Sorry if I did. I am somewhat new to this and just realized that I may have done a no-no.
