I just had a shop put a 4" Superlift with 325/60R20 (35x12.50) Nittro Terra Grappler AT on my 2007 F250 Diesel. I used the existing 8" x 20" stock wheels. Feel a slight vibration on takeoff and deceleration in my seat more on the the right side of my seat. Does this sound like a drive shaft problem?
you i had that same problem and then installed a carrier bearing drop bracket almost any lift company will have the kit. normally they will run about 60 bucks. try that, but i am guessing it will fix it. or help that vibration out a ton.

Hemislayer - I see you have a 4" Superlift with same size tires/wheels. I noticed your lift has quite a few options mine doesn't. I had the "low end" kit installed, front springs/radius arm brackets, and four shocks. I will go with the carrier bearing drop and see how this works. Since I have the low end version anything else you may suggest would be welcome.

Well the kit you have now is exactly what I had when I first lifted my truck about 2 years ago. Then over time i upgraded things. First I added the 2in level kit from skyjacker so the truck sat level. Then came the dual steering stabilizers to get rid of the "death wobble". Then came all the shocks with resiviors and thats the stage the suspension is at now. I love it. The truck rides great and looks awesome. Soon i want to upgrade to a four link. But also check your speedo. Mine was off about by 15 mph.

Just browsing.... When you put in the Skyjacker pitman arm, did you also do a drop trac bar bracket?

yes i had to. the shop that did my alignment (meadowlands 4x4 , a highly suggested place, they really know their stuff) and checked over my truck when i was done putting on the lift suggested i put a drop track back. when i got my kit from superlift they supplied me with a stock track bar. If I kept driving with that one i was told i would of snapped something and lost the axle.

I've been looking forward to upgrade this month also. Anyways, I am also happy that we use the same Superlift stuff.
Everybody has their own opinion about every company out there and im glad I went with Superlift. The ride is great, the look outcome is even better and most important I havent had a problem. And slowly ive made it more unique with my personal touchs.
you need a carrier barring drop. You have a two piece driveshaft and have to lower the carrier barring to compensate for the lift. You need about 1/4 of drop per 1 inch of lift. Use this formula to see how much of a drop you need. You never stated how your rear end was lifted so i dunno.
After I went back they did install about 1/2" worth of shim at the drive shaft bracket right where the two pice shaft comes together. I assume this is similar to the carrier bearing drop bracket. I plan on getting the drop bracket and have it done properly. I had 2.5" block added in the back and 4" lift in front. Using your formula I should have 3/4" drop. How about the front drive shaft? Did anything need to be done their? I don't trust my shop anymore. I plan on changing to the the local 4wheelparts store for my purchases and installs.

I would just lower down your carier bracket a little more. I have the stock front driveshaft with no modification and I have 8 inches of lift. Once you get the right shims in there the vibration will go away. Just keep adding shims until you find that perfect mix,
