Re: 490.2hp 890.8lb/ft

Am I reading that right? You picked up 100 HP with water meth? That had to have been stronger than the recommended 50/50 mix

That just seemed high. Most I have heard of someone gaining was 80 HP. Good job!

Re: 490.2hp 890.8lb/ft

If you look at the run with the PRED it only gained 80 hp.

Re: 490.2hp 890.8lb/ft

I have a question. What amount of power do you think is lost between a stock tranny and a built tranny. I mean I run the Pred. and have exhuast, no intake yet but what do you think I would put down compared to you with an intake and stock tranny. SuperKaz said his truck runs like a bat out of hell with his new tranny. What do you think??

What brand of water/methanol injection are you using? I have the Snow Perfomance kit with the biggest injectors they offer for the stage 1 kit, and when the system is on I don't see any significant reduction in EGT's or gains in power.

Yes the tranny make a nice difference in the way the truck feels.

In September, I took a local club member's new '04 out for a drive right after he put down 431 rwhp on a Dynojet with only a dual exhaust and TS 135 module & bone stock Torqueshift. It was awesome to say the least. Must be something wrong with a 6.0L that can't hit 400 with the TS165. Re: 490.2hp 890.8lb/ft

Bandit,

Carls truck put down some nice numbers, too bad the correction factor is nowhere near accurate. In most places just over 400 is reality for hot 6.0's. My truck dyno'd at 647hp, which I know is not possible in it current configuration. PFI uses the SAE correction which only applies to naturally aspirated numbers.
