Ac Orifice Tube????

Has anyone changed their ac orifice tube on an 2003 f-250 6.0 diesel? Whats the part number? Do I need a special tool? Any pictures or instructions I can find and look at? I wanted to put a bigger orfice tube to get better cooling for this summer. Thanks for any input and help!!

You'll need all the equipment to recover the refrigerant, evacuate the system, and recharge it at least........

The Powerstroke.com video guy on YouTube has a video on the specific part #'s and such. The video will tell you everything that you need to know.
You must have the special AC equipment to do it.
It gets seriously cold, make sure you follow his advice or it'll freeze up.

In that video, he installs a smaller than stock orifice tube. The tool he used to remove and install the tube wasn't the correct one.

The process for a 6.0 is exactly the same for a 7.3. Here is a video about it: YouTube - Powerstroke A/C Repair Part 1

You can buy those orifice tubes for roughly $2.50 on Amazon marketplace.
