AirDog install help needed

I have the AirDog unit installed in my truck up until the quick disconnect fitting that goes to the inlet side of the OE fuel pump. The original fitting seems to creat a tight connection. The new fitting clicks on but is very very loose. What am I doing wrong?

Re: AirDog install help needed

I got the fitting fixed and didn't have any leaks with the pump running. When I went to fill up my tank, there was a steady (small)stream of fuel dripping down the back of the tank - right where the fill tube goes. I can see where the fill tube connects from the tank, over the frame rail, and there is no leak. There is also no leak from the new T piece that is part of the AirDog system. The only place left is where the fill tube connects to the tank, right?

Yes, make sure the fill tube is secured in the tank and also at the top.

Re: AirDog install help needed

So far it seems nice. The engine is a bit quieter, particulary at idle. Seems like more consistent power, particulary at the low end. My mpg's went up on the lie-o-meter - it will be interesting to see the real numbers at my next fill up.
