Question AirLift/Coolant flush

Topic on 6.4 upgd/aftmkt forum about using AirLift to remove any trapped air when adding new coolant. Most 6l reports I recall, didn't mention using "air lift". Wondering if really necessary to do same as 6.4L.? T I A

No, it isn't absolutely necessary. In the factory manual it tells you how to do it both ways, so even Ford doesn't consider it necessary.
