Another happy Innovative Customer

I got my tunes from Eric last night, and all I can say is wow. I uploaded the extreme street tune first and went for a drive. The truck's driving manners are like stock, but much improved shifting. I rolled into the throttle slightly and was blown away. I have a supercharged mustang that makes around 430hp to the tires, but I am thinking I may just sell it with how much fun the truck is to drive now =). I am hoping to see some MPG increase if I can manage to keep my foot out of it. Big thumbs up to the guys at Innovative.

Thanks! Have fun and you'll notice increased mileage with a light foot. It's tough to control with the new found power. I still have trouble with that.

Question for Innovative Diesel?

Question for the Innovative Diesel guys... I keep hearing about having to do the head studs if you run a programmer and tow. For a 2007 6.0 if I run Innovative Deisel's aggressive tow am I at risk without beefing up the head studs?

Honestly, you are at risk of having headgasket problems just owning a 6.0 in stock form.

I am running the Xtreme Street from ID currently for my daily driver and it's great. My truck has been good to me thus far, I've ran the Edge, Superchips Flashpaq, now SCT with multiple tunes from different vendors.

I'm sure you will be just fine as long as you don't tow heavy with high power tunes, and exceed high egt's for extended period of time.

Watch your guages, check for puking, and try not to abuse it with all that extra power.

Also, make sure you allow a newly downloaded tune to go through it's learning cycle. Drive it normal, let it learn where to shift a few miles. Stop and Start it again and gradually work up to WOT.

Good Luck!

Xtreme Street- Daily
Agg Tow -for towing less than 6k
