I am looking to upgrade the trans in my 6.0 anyone with feed back? I will be towing the new addition to our family a 37 5th ww even with the Banks Kit and six gun the trans seems to slip way to much. Out of war so no dealer support. ATS stage 4 or 5? any and all help will be greatly appreciated

First I would get a programer like the SCT that will control the transmission. If you really need a trans you could check with ATS. Most people I know will go for John Woods or a Suncoast Extreme Rebuild kit. I also heard that a certain fella in Ark. was working on a Torqshift trans.... Give us a call. We have a nationwide dealer network and the new five star converter works great in my trcuk. We upgrade the clutch packs for more holding power too. I can also do an SCT tuner to work with your Banks Six-gun that will help the trans too.

Is it better to rebuild it or swap it? I thought there was a problem with some line pressure thing? and an upgrade (torq) only would still leave a week link. I have reconnected the Banks kit and its soooo cool. should have never doubted it. (03 Injectors 5 bad no charge)
I knew I could count on you all to give great advise thanks more then you know. I did fix my signature as I now am not afraid of mother Ford voiding my warranty because of my Banks kit. They cant! I dont drive it like a fool so its cool. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smokin.gif[/img]

I looked at his web site and imagine my shock to see the same WW trailer I have in the picture....Thinking.......might be worth the drive. Has he only done one and do we know the price? I saw none was listed on the board.

I don't know if anyone has one of JW's trans on here or not. PM me if you would like to talk to some people that know about them (don't think they frequent this board but they do on others).
