For those of you running Superchips....if you are running it in "economy" mode did you see an increase in fuel mileage?

I can't say I notice any difference between Econ and HP except more smoke in HP and maybe a little more power. I'm running Tow right now and like it much more for around town drivability (stock shifting primarily) and I swear I've lost about 1.5 to 2 MPG.

Also, if you have to put the stock settings back on your computer can Ford tell that the factory settings were at one time altered?

Search, read, draw you're own conclusion then throw it out here with the rest. Unless you have an out of spec condition, overspeed etc., I don't think so as long as you give the ECM time to clear the P0603 and P1000 which just comes with time and building data. P0603 seems to be gone in a week or so of driving. Otherwise, "I pulled the battery cable to <insert reason here>" which would also leave the same thing.

If you like stock shifting then get updated to the version 5.03. It shifts like stock in all settings. Under full throttle it still will shift quick and firm which is nice.
go to the website and give them a call...prepare to defend yourself. I get the impression they really don't like to reprogram if they don't have to. If you are experiencing "rough" shifting and would prefer it to be more like stock they will give you an RA#. You just send it in....wait 3 or 4 weeks and you'll be set.

I forgot to ask....I've had my truck flashed and pilot injection is no longer on my truck. If I replace my stock settings w/the Superchips will I get back PI? That would be nice if so....

No..The SCMT saves the files on your truck...so when you put it back to stock you will have what you started with before you put it in.

If you had your truck flashed, and your tuner still has your stock tune, you're hosed. Becasue if you did that, when you plug it in, your truck will not have the tune that the SC tuner is expecting. So it will not load anything.
Hopefully you restored your stock tune BEFORE going to the dealer and having it flashed.
