Re: Anyone using the predator chip on there 6.0???
I've run the Predator on many 03/04 trucks and it pulls like a bear in the 100hp mode. I actually think it may be 100rwhp! There used to be issues with antifreeze blowing out of the reservoir, but I haven't seen the issue in months. On the early tunes we'd just pull a couple ounces out and that would do the trick. We've run mid 14's easy with Predators and turbo back exhaust. On the street it will burn tires from a 10-15mph kick and grab first and second gear on 33" tires. The Predator currently seems to be one of the most aggressive out of the box tunes on the current flashers.

Does the Predator leave any codes behind or anything that might be detected by Ford techs?

I guess I am talking about the chip. My Friend said it pluged in on the engine somewhere around the valve cover area. I do not know a lot about the new chips and programmers. All I had on my 7.3 was a Bully Dog Flip Chip, No experience with the rest of them.

If I had a 2004 I would buy this one but I have a 2003 which to install you have to pull too many parts to install from underneith the 2004 install over valve cover. If you have a 2004 buy the one for the 2003 installs just lie the one for the 2004 but puts out around 130 hp instead of the 80 due to programming differences between the 2003 and 2004. Pulls like a demon I have a friend with a dyno and a 4x4 shop he installs them. Reason I didn't was to take it into servoce too hard to remove it from a 2003 so I went with Diablos Predator programmer.
