Geez $600 for head studs??? ***???
How knows where I can find the cheapest price on these babies?
Last I check the weren't made out of platinum or diamonds so what gives with the price?
I think my wallet is going to commit suicide after today!

Best pricing I've hear of is just a hair under $500.

If someone can give me the dimensions of the studs and nuts I will see what we can make them for. Just from looking at the advertisements, it seems like these guys are making a killing.

Well being that I am have been a machinst for 15 years you would think I could put a price on something like this. Our shop is in an expensive area and I still say that I can beat ARP's price by far, taking into account a volume order. BTW, all the "special" manufacturing steps are not that special and the "special" alloy is not that special.

I agree! I too am looking for some stids but $500 plus seems silly to me. What kind of volume would we be looking at and for what price???

When I stretched my head studs the dealer offered to upgrade to ARP's for 225.
So just get out there and stretch em on out.

Volume would be dependent on the yield of studs per bar length. There is also a lot charge on the heat treat process. I don't know exactly how many studs there are per kit or what size but it's by no means rocket science to duplicate ones in hand knowing the material.
