ATS Diesel Injectors

I was looking for a set of injectors for my 05 and I found that the ATS injectors were quite a bit less than the other brands. I was wanting to know if anyone uses these. Also, what type of fuel system will I need to get to run the injectors? I am having the dealer install my ARP studs so I thought if I am going to do any more mods, I might as well get them done while its tore apart. I have a innovative tuned sct, 03 turbo, turbo back exhaust, intake... Thanks for the info

Re: ATS Diesel Injectors

Re: ATS Diesel Injectors

What size is their 90hp injector(cc wise)?
I heard all they do is a nozzle change, but not for sure.
If the injetors are large you will need a Fass and a return regulated fuel system.

Re: ATS Diesel Injectors

90 hp would be 185cc or so
Usually the nozzle only injectors are about 50 hp. They weld up one oil hole and modify the nozzle.

Re: ATS Diesel Injectors

I work at a ford dealership and I am buddies with the diesel mechanic so they are putting them on under warranty... I'm not sure what size I wanted... I just want the most bang for my buck. I emailed them about their injectors a couple weeks ago but they never got back to me, so I dont know anything except what is on their website.

Unbroken--with a 90hp/185cc injector would you need to run fuel upgrades..or can you get by with the stock components? Also, is the turbo gonna be able to keep up??

Re: ATS Diesel Injectors

A healthy stock fuel system will be adequate.
I'm a proponent of fuel system upgrades with any injector upgrade....not everyone agrees.
DJ's fuel intensifier is the minimum I'd go with.

As far as the stock turbo...it'll do fine. ANything over a 190 and you definitely need more air.
Again...just my opinion.

Re: ATS Diesel Injectors

is dj's fuel intensifier the same thing as elitediesel's stage 1 fuel setup...
