Bad Boost

Sometimes but not all times, My truck will start out lacking power and when I really accelerate, the boost guage will peg. When I let off quickly, the needle jumps and it makes a whoosh, whoosh whoosh noise. It only does it in extreme street tune form an excaliber tuner. Any ideas?

The noise is normal, it's the air returning back through your intake when you let off.

Thanks guys, but....

Thanks for your replies but what about the boost guage pegging? It only does when it's not acting right.

If you are pegging the boost gauge, your turbo may be sticking closed. I'd have it tested out at the dealer. They can run a test that will test the turbo.
