Banks IC - Boots blowing off!

hey guys..... what have you done to keep the boots from blowing off your Banks IC? Its happened to me three times now..... and it sucks to repair on the road!

I just got an e-mail back from Banks.... they are telling me that they have a retrofit kit.... and that it is $175! I just spent $1100 for their intercooler...... you have got to be kidding me that they want me to spend another $175 to make it work right!

I'd fight that if I was you. If it doesn't work like it suppose to, and you spent that much money, they need to pay to make it work like it should.

They just sent me one yesterday, for free. Call back and tell them you want the Retro kit. They will send it to you for free, they just want to see if you will pay to fix it.

I called Shananigons on having to pay for the kit and they are now sending it to me for free....... I was seriously pissed off of a couple of minutes there!
