Yeah, but did you notice during his burnouts that the truck has a dual exhaust?? The Banks exhaust he showed on the floor wasn't a dual system. Does Banks even make a dual system for these trucks?? Kinda makes me wonder if he was actually using a different brand exhaust!!

I was disappointed that there was not more time spent on the transcommand feature and the issues with the transmission learning. From the footage of Stacey running around town going from one level to the next it was obvious he was allowing the transmission to learn, but he never said that. I don't know that the new air elbow would really make a difference. I think it was just a way for Banks to put there logo on the engine. There are no real gains because the piping from that elbow to the intake valves are still the same diameter so it will only flow so much air. With the increase in the diameter of the intercooler lines, I wonder what the differnce in boost pressure was.
where was the black smoke to me cause of that i dont want it i thought the program sucked no dyno results they clamed so much why not prove it on a dyno well i guess its all about the name....
My 2nd post did not post..wierd. Anyways I did not see the dual exhaust but i did see the truck bed full of smoke!
Did anyone hear a "clunk" during one of his runs in traffic? I swear I heard something clunk. I will try and watch again tomm. he didnt talk about the tranny cept to say Mr. Banks has things figured out. Although I wouldnt have to worry about it as my F-450 is a 6 speed. I want to get a tuner but I am still undecided. I like the edge and the banks doesnt uninstall very easy. I dont think I would install a switch thats says "BANKS" on my dash.

I'm was impressed with the power that the Banks system makes, it did seem to lay rubber on demand. But what does a system like this cost??? I know Banks is not usually cheap.
I'm still undecided on what system I'm going to purchase but I do want to wake up those hidden puppies under my hood. I guess I'll just wait a little more to see what comes out of the different manufacturers.

When you watch it again tomorrow, pay attention when they show the driver's side rear tire, that second exhaust tip is there for all to see!
I was actually disappointed in the program, it was all fluff, with very little really useful info. I was also surprised that he went to the trouble to take the exhaust manifold off to install the pyro probe. He could have achieved the same results without all that trouble by simply using a small magnet in the hole.
I also don't think I would want a "Banks" knob on my dash! Kinda tacky looking if you ask me.

I think they did the show on a 6.0L only because of banks. I dont think Stacy likes the 6.0L or any ford diesel. I agree taking that manifold off made it seem like a BIG job when it didnt have to be. I wanted to see some numbers on the track and on the dyno. Banks should know if you want people to spend that kind of money, you need to show them the numbers. Is he trying to hide something? If he is proud of his product he should show the numbers. But hey, thats just me.

One needs to understand that all these type shows are paided advertiseing, so you get to see what the manufacture wants you to see. You pay for time on the show, so if you want the whole show it cost $XX,XXX dollars and if you get 1/2 the show it cost $X,XXX dollars. It's a quick overview of a product but by no means a good side by side compairson from show to show.
I also was dis'd about the install. He said it installs ez...but never showed us how. Instead moved on to the road test and 6-shooter test. Makes me wonder how ez it would be to install?
i thought the program to be very interesing.and i was impressed by the burn outs.i wish i could get a larger intercooler for my dmax.the installation of the module lloked real simple to install.however for me i woul of mounted the knob kinda under the dash were i could reach it easy but no one could see it.i liked seeing diesels on tv even if it was a ferd.i have a buddy with a quad chip, one with a pdq and one with a ts performance.hopefully some one else local will get a banks and an edge so we can see what is what

That was impressive, look at the brake lights. They are off after he gets it spinning. The burn out look like a big block muscle car.
If you not impressed with those I think you just bias toward Banks. I'd like to have one for the wifes X.

Yes, the burnouts were impressive. I'll give 'em that.
However, I think the "Six Pack Bundle" is going to be waaaay to pricey and full of useless gimmicks. Think about it, the are selling you an intercooler, intercooler pipes (Granted they are bigger than what you currently have, but the end going back into the engine is not, so what good does that do you?? You can only force so much air through that hole.), intake elbow and the cheesiest looking knob seen since the invention of the rotary switch. Oh yeah, and let's not forget the exhaust, which costs as much in T-409 stainless as everyone else's T-304.
Yeah, I have a bias towards Banks. But it's because I can buy better quality stuff for less money and get better performance to boot!
