Here's an update, I've been f-rting around on level 3 for a couple of weeks now and taken a road trip and am seeing 21.5 mpg with my 1 ton 4x2. I also have done a couple of 1/4 mi.passes. Level 6 was 14.62@94mph and on SL 14.47@ 96mph. Have been experiencing some wheel spin off the line, should have gotten a 4x4? Trade off for mpg's I guess. I'm very pleased and thanks for all the input guys.
I've notived some other threads where guys are not liking the sixgun because of the way thier trannys shift. I have had "0" problems so far and wonder if they followed ALL of the installation instructions at the end of the install, I.E. the PCM learning curve for the new power settings. Just a thought?

14.47 using the Speed Loader in a 2 wd truck is not bad. Alot has to do with the launch. Did you go to the track to get theses times. These times are right on par with the Edge, level 5-14.39 and 6-14.21 and that was at the track in 4wd at a brake stand of 1900-2100rpms, basically no wheel spin, no drama. The main thing is the truck shifts, which is the most important issue to me. Good luck keep us posted . Jeff

I can run 13.6 on mine (according to the pda). All the banks products available are on the truck. Got to launch in 4X4 to get under 14. I have had the banks system on two trucks now. Never had a problem and drive them hard.
does anyone know what the wire colors are to connect the six gun wiring harness that is inside the cab into the control knob. somehow i pulled the wires out of the harness.
Call banks tech support: 800.601.8072
They should be able to tell you pretty quick. I would help you out myself, but I got rid of the switch and went to the PDA.
I honestly can't tell much difference between using the Six-Gun and turning it off. Maybe I'm on crack. Then again, maybe if the stupid turbo didn't have the variable pitch on launch I might be able to notice it a little better.
Does the six gun alter the timing on the 6.0L? I thought you shouldn't be messing with 6.0's timing, as this is the cause to alot of failures? How's the banks system treating everyone???
I've noticed hypertech and some other programer now just advertising economy and gas saving settings?
All this talk of mileage, and how it is posted makes me wonder if you guys are using the overhead monitor or hand calculating. Once you make changes to the programming you change the calibration of the overhead monitor. Verify it via hand calculation before you trust it.

I could see where the on guy could get in the 20's mpg. I have a 2007 F250 CC 2wd and almost every fill-up I calculate by hand 18.6-18.2mpg. There are some in 17's (feeling froggy) or when I run B20 it will knock it down to 16mpg. (14mpg towing)
Im not sure how the SCT controls the tranny, just havent researched or used it to make a fair judgement but the banks is supposed to take away power at the shift points to save the tranny. seems like one of the safer setups, just not as extreme as some of the others. I have the 6 gun PDA on mine and so far its been good, exept had to reset it once because it was doing something wierd with the timing? I believe. on the higher settings and truck was blowing white smoke...checked out ok with a dealer mechanic too so it wasnt an engine problem (I Hope) but problem was fixed by reseting the setup.
theres a reset where you tap the accelarator 5 times with the key turned just beforeturning the truck on, turn it off, turn it back to the same position and tap the acellarator 5 more times than turn it off.
