banks techni cooler kit

what kind of performance increase could I expect from one of these kits and would this be a good add on for someone that tows and does alot of driving (will it improve airflow significantly and MPG some?) anyone with this kit or knows someone with one please let me know. Im really looking into getting one

If I remember correctly from people that have bought these, you only feel a performance change with towing if your running stock.

you will see about 100* drop in egts. on a really good day 200*. adjusting your driving will give you the most mpg gain. a intercooler is really not that nessisary untill you start pushing the limits of the stock charger. at that point though a bigger turbo will giver you better results then though. the banks unit looks to be a good inter cooler. but against all their propaganda they do not make a good improvement for the dollar for the average consumer. you will see better results from a 4" turbo back exhaust and a sct tuner. id avoid after market airfilters

Waste of $$ IMO on a stock truck, Get a SCT with custom tunes..will never have egt problems.

thanks lubbock youve been a big help with my new truck. I have not upgraded anything because I dont know where to start but hopefully will get my ducks in line soon.
