best aftermarket transmission

With all the talk of the power chips and modules being hard on oem transmissions. What is considered the best aftermarket transmission. I have read about TCI and ATS has anybody had any experience with these companys or can recommend another.

Bruisn_It_250,

You might check with BTS brians truck shop in Lead Hill AR, I heard a rumor that he was getting into the 6.0 trannies and he's is the best at the 7.3 ones for sure. He's a sponsor here so you can get his info in the links section.

I have a SunCoast. Have had it for almost a year. I mercilessly apply power (no neutral drops), and it has never done anything but stuff the HP down the drive shaft. Joe is good to work with too.

Look here:

http://www.suncoastconverters.com/

When you call, ask for Joe. He is the man you want to talk to (owner). If a nice lady answers, it's Mrs. Joe. He can walk you through what you need (there are a lot of options from just a few parts to upgrade all the way to having Joe send you a fully rebuilt trans and TC). He also works with diesel/tranny shops all over, so if you want to get a local shop to do it, he may know someone in your area that does it.

Good luck. RL
