Re: best turner or chip?

SCT for me had edge attutide, edge evolution, and bullydog. I choose SCT from ID more power better mpg's and way better for trans. That's my thoughts.

Re: best turner or chip?

The SCT is the most popluar mostly because it's the most versitile. if you want adjust ablitiy on the file the edge J/A is nice and if you looking for a mild increase with added fuel milage the I like the Quadzilla XZT.

Give us a call if you have nay questions abotu these or any other products.

Re: best turner or chip?

The question is better defined if you lay out what you expect from the downloader, module or chip. Mileage, Towing or raw horsepower?

I personally like the results I get with my Bully dog downloader. I'm not a raw horsepower guy, but I like the truck to get out of it's own way. The mileage has been spectacular 18+ in day to day driving. As for towing I do occassionally and the trans shift program in tow/economy is great.

Most of the guys that are raw horsepower seem to like the custom tuned SCT. They don't seem to brag about mileage much though!

CC 2wd f250
Hand calculated 22.6 MPG on ID's Race file.
That was running a steady 70 mph on the interstate for the whole tank.

Re: best turner or chip?

22.6 mpg....WOW!

Which side of the Rockies were you coasting down? LOL

I have had times when I could get up to 21 mpg with a tailwind and flat highway. My overall city and highway usually stays around 18 mpg.

Recently I have been running about 75% of the time in town and it hasn't made but a .1 -.2 difference, still hanging around 18 mpg. Two of the guys I run around with have the SCT w/custom tunes but they are only pulling 15-16 in town. Whenever we do a road trip they want me to drive!

I actually got 21 once with my Excursion driving 50 MPH in moderate traffic where I could not speed. I had the TS 110 HP box, and AFE filter and a good exhaust. generally it got 18 MPG at 75. Keep in mind that is NOT towing and Florida is pretty flat.
