Big Problems with Edge!!!! - Diesel Forum

Some of you mught know that I was Beta testing Edge newest Creation.Well I first had and Electrical fire the Day before.Insurance Company said the STEAM from my Coolant tank caused the Wiring Harness to Melt [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]"I saw Flames"water/steam doesn't do that!They denied the Claim after my Truck sat in 2 differnt shops for over 1 Month never being Touch!Ford Bannned my From Every Local Dealer for my Mods and would'nt even look at it!Well after paiying $657 for Nothing I got my Truck back.I had and Edge Juice with Attitatude in when the Fire Happened and I removed it and sent it straight back to Edge to Have them see what the problems was?My first New Edge Product was recalled before I ever Tried it!Mt Next one didn't work and Now My3rd one through a Code saying Call Edge!So I did and spoke with the man running the testing and asked wheres My Juce with Attatude I sent you back and this thing doesn't work either! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]He promised to ship out the Right Beta Unit this time and find out where my J/A is!Well this has been over a Month agao withno less then 4 unaswered 4 calls! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]I paid Big Money for my Juice with Attattude and had warrety Problems before and they took care of it.Now No call Backs !My Juice/Att is Gone that I paid Big Money for and I have my 3rd Bunck Beta Unit waiting for A NEW Right One to show up and am out the Money they Charged me"$225" for the Thing!Now I have enough BS with my other Racing so I have been away racing and Blowing Up the Last couple Months to really be on the Board"I did win the BUB International Motorcycle Speed Trials American V-Twin Class" so I haven't Posted because of Time!Well Now my season is Over and I want my Truck back running like it was!I removed the SMC Methanol Kit and went totally stock except exhaust and intake!No Puking but she's Slow a$$ Dog Now ! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]My ATS Trans has be Great but I have No Real Power to test it with Now!I ready to try and SCT again"I tried stacking and Trans Tunes with No Luck when they first came out"now that it's seems to be the hot setup!Edge has tottally dissapointed me with their Lack of Customer service and Product know How so what next?Still waiting on ATS HEAD STUDS ,but have never been called or e-mailed back,along with their big Turbo!I finally stepped upto an 05 Renegade Totter and 06 Stacker with the Big Benz Motor and Meritor Trans so my Truck will Never tow again [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif[/img]!Alls I Want is a SickkAZZ Street Truck that can dependably drive 500 miles and Back without any issues!Is that to much to ask? [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/vulnerable.gif[/img]

Since you are a Beta, why not get your money back and go SCT?

I will give them till Friday then I'll go that route but they haven't sent back my Juice with Att. either so thats a concern too [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]!

if steam melts the wires can't the wires touch causing a short and poss a fire.it happened to me on a different auto. melted the plastic off the wires and the touched ,sparked and caught fire. as far as for your edge issue i dont understand. i beta test for them and have had no, nada, zero problems with them. call the up and whatever it is i need is here the next day and i live in ca. did u pay by credit card. if u did tell them you are going to do a charge back and going to buy a sct.

The burden of proof is on the insurance company that there were no flames. File a Bad-Fatih complaint with your Dept of Insurance. I'm an agent, so I know what I'm talking about. If you saw flames, they should pay.

i would like some info on this 500/900 combo on stock bolts injectors and tranny also. I would be happy at a useable 400

Aaron is usually if it's in his power a man of his word, he'll likely get you fixed up if he can stay awake. He's a new daddy of twins! Very unusual for Edge to have had this happen in the first place.

[img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]He has called me a Few Times but the Problem is Roger Middleton has been in Charge of the Beta Program and he and Aaron have Lost me in the Paper Shuffle [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]!They have a Great Product,but now they need to get their Customer Service Worked out and everything will be just fine! [/ QUOTE ]Well I must say HE IS [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif[/img]!!!!It showed"New Evolution Programmer & Juice with Attitude" and it worked [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img],but thats the GOOD NEWS!The BAD News is it PUKED so bad [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]it over heated after a short little test down the 215 [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img]!The shifting was Much Improved and I love the High rpm shifts but it seemed to be SOFTER on the Bottom end compaired to my Juice/Att [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]!With the higher shift points and No Speed Limiter it's a Beast on the Big End but Puked Like a Bolemic Super Model [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]!Gonna Need HS/HG Very soon as this is Not gonna work like it is!!!! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]Edge came through,but my truck is Hurt TOO BAD Already [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]and No Tuner is gonna fix that!
