i talked to adam at first coast diesel performance about these and he said that they are better than the factory head gaskets. they have more adhesive for a better sealing surface. i would not reccomend any type of fire ring or wire lock type gasket as they are prone to failure and dont typically give a long service life. the black onyx gaskets are the best i have seen. the ford gaskets are good if you have a flat mating surface. just remember to get the arps studs.
