Block Heater

I have looked under my truck but as of yet have not found the plug for the block heater. Would like to find it since it is getting much colder and truck runs really rough until it warms up.

Re: Block Heater

If it has the cord it is tied up behind the passenger's side tow hook.

Re: Block Heater

Well then it's nice to know I have one on my '03 and haven't needed it. And as cold as it gets in Indiana and Illinois in the winter time I could have probably plugged it in once or twice.

Thanks OMCUSNR

Re: Block Heater

No problem.

If you ever do need it, you'll need to find it in day light. You'll also need a million candle power spot light.

It's a black cord, with a black cap tied up with black tie wrap, in small black hole next to the passenger side black tow hook. You'll also need some needle nose fingers to get it freeed up to use a pair of dikes to cut the tie wrap & snake it out.

OMC
