Boost drop at WOT ??

I just took my brother's 2003 F350 6.0 in to the dealer. Ive got a connection there and got my headstuds put in under warranty. I picked the truck up tonight and its seriously lacking power and as if the turbo is struggling to make boost. at 3/4 throttle it will build a somewhat normal amount of boost but when you stomp it down to the floor it drops down 8-10psi! Anyone have any suggestions, did they forget to connect something?

thanks

Re: Boost drop at WOT ??

Well I am hoping your "connection" didn't do a fradulent warranty claim to get the studs put in, but it sounds like its loosing boost, probably into the cooling system. Did you check to see if you are puking? Did you get the gaskets replaced, or did you just get the studs put in?

Re: Boost drop at WOT ??

no it was not fraudulent. I ended up finding that the EBP (exhaust back pressure)was not reading, turns out a wire had come disconnected.
