Boost surge with edge, predator, and stock!!!!
Good morning all,
Installed edge w/attitude and Hog exhaust a few weeks ago. Upon installation and driving I could hear boost "surge" at light throttle when vehicle was first driven. After driving for 10-15mins. surge is alot less noticeable. I first thought it was due to edge, so I tried to just deal with it. The surge is significant enough that you can feel the surge and see it vary the boost gauge by as much as 5-7psi, all while throttle held in same position. I had heard that egr systems would some time cause this type of problem, so I un-plugged the egr with no noticeable difference. When I got my predator I was hoping it would take care of this concern. No such luck! Same symptoms. Next I tried it with no performance mods other than exhaust, same concerns only worse!! Has anyone had this problem? Again, it goes away almost completely when vehicle hot! [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shrug.gif[/img]
