Bought a used X3 with DJ's tunes. Was taken off of an 04 now put on 05. Anything I need to do?

I bought a used X3 with DJ's tunes loaded on it. The X3 was taken off of an 04 6.0 and will now be put on my 05 6.0. I was wondering if there is anything I need to do or any changes to run it on the different year truck. Thanks

Can't wait to try it out. Was going to get an edge but heard way too many good things about the SCTs!!!

Yea. You need to verify that the engine and transmission strategy that the tunes were written for is the same as the engine and transmission strategy thats in your truck.

Did the previous owner return their truck back to stock? If so and the strategies won't work together you'll have to unlock it but if they work then you should be set. call a tuner for the best answers.

You can check it to see if it was returned to stock. Also I would not load the programs on it. You will most likely need custom tunes for your PCM. Let me know if I can be of any help.
