Bully Dog and Edge Problems? - Diesel Forum

Ok guys, We have a 2006 that we had 2 different chips on. One of the chips was a Bully Dog Dyno Dominator and the other was an Edge Juice with additude. Both Chips quit working after a few months. One day I was driving in the truck and it just died and would not restart. It happened this way with both of the chips. The truck is a 2006 F-350 6.0 with no other mods. Can anyone help. Thanks guys.

i would check the ob2 power supply first. i wouldnt want either tuner on my truck though

Are neither one of them good chips? They really did the exact same thing when they went out, i was pulling a stock trailer and was in the middle of the intersection and it died and wouldnt start back up. I had to take the edge chip off in the middle of the intersection before it would start. Since they both quit the same way it makes me think its something with the truck.

Have you contacted edge or bully dog? I too find it had to believe both would fail and it not be the truck. I would tend to think a loss of power or short to ground situation

Get a SCT with Cale's tunes from BTS. Get rid of the K&N before you kill your turbo and engine. Just use a stock intake best you can get and good to 500hp.
