buying a used livewire?

if i buy a used livewire for my 06, can i get the tunes through email or do i have to send the actual livewire to the tunner? second, if it already has custom tunes lets say for a 2003 or 2004, will they work on my 2006?

I thought you still had to send the Livewire back for now? I don't think it supports email/internet upgrades and a lot of other things for the 6.0.
