clutches for 6.0???

Does anybody make a aftermarket clutch for the 6.0 6spd. I don't need one yet but I know it is only a matter of time.

Re: clutches for 6.0???

I WOULD CHECK WITH; RAM CLUTCHES, HAYS PERFORMANCE, FORD MOTORSPORT, CETERFORCE OR MCLEOD CLUTCHES. SOMEONE SHOULD HAVE SOMETHING, ALL THAT NEEDS TO MATCH UP IS THE SPLINE SIZE, PRESSURE PLATE TYPE, (LONG OR BORG AND BECK) AND BOLT PATTERN. IF YOU SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN TECH YOU GUYS SHOULD BE ABLE TO COME UP WITH SOMETHING. CENTERFORCE AND MCLEOD OFFER A DUAL FRITION SET UP THAT WORKS AWESOME AND WILL INCREASE HOLDING POWER USUALLY UP TO 90% WITH VERY LITTLE IF ANY PEDAL EFFORT INCREASE. SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS BUT I SUCK AT TYPING AND I'M NOT REDOING IT! JON

As far as I know, there is nothing available as of yet. It probably won't be long though.

Re: clutches for 6.0???

Hey bret, what boost guage do you have? Is it the 35 or 60 psi? I am wondering becuase my truck has 38" tires and I ordered a 35 psi boost guage, I'm wondering if my truck is gonna make more than 35 psi with the 125 quad box and a 4" magna flow exhuast.

Re: clutches for 6.0???

Yes the 6.0 Liter uses a duall mass flywheel. If you need a good clutch for one you can call me at 1-888-824-2012. We have been using and selling clutchs for them for a year now. They will handle all the power the 6.0l will put out for now. What i am meaning is we have a truck that has high flow injectors edged box stacked with a diablo predator with 4 inch exhaust and a afe intake. I am still trying to talk to Quad to try his box but he has not returned my 10 phone messages i left him. The clutch is a solid flywheel conversion.Let me know if you need one. You can PM me or call me. Thanks Dan

On the 6.0L you will be fine with the 35 psi gauge. That's what I ran on my Excursion. I have to run a 60 psi gauge on my Cummins. I can hit 57 psi in a heartbeat, of course that is not with a stock turbo!
