Coolant Filter?

Just put coolant filter on 6.0 from Dieselsite. My question is how many miles do I need to go before I change the first filter, then how often after that?

First one won't take long. Check it every now and then and when it is full it won't get hot anymore because no coolant is flowing through it. The second one will last much longer than the first. I've had my third in for about 40k miles and still flowing good.

For my inital install I drove 7-10K then swapped the filter. I decided to go yearly after that for my filter swaps.

I just installed my Dfuser kit today. The instructions say to change the first filter after 500 miles, the second one after another 1,000 miles, and then every 6 months after that.
