Mine would do the same thing while towning a bobcat it would blow antifreeze out the degas bottle. When I didnt tow it was fine. I was bone stock. Dealer replaced both heads(warped) head gaskets and studded it. No porblems since.

Dealer replaced turbo, Egr Cooler, cleaned egr valve and replaced heads & head gaskets and installed arp studs

I was pro studs for about a month and a half. I had the studs done 3 weeks perfect no problems. I go to check the coolent one day and notice the bottle is filled with oil. So I replaced the oil cooler and egr cooler. 2 weeks all is well. Out working today and the dreaded coolent smell returns, I pop the hood and sure enough coolent puking out the overflow. I have come to the conclusion that the 6.0 is a pile of sh#t. Id rather have a 7.3 that runs "ok" all the time then have this truck that acts like my wife with the good day bad day crap. I am seeking a replacement for my 04 and I dont think its going to be the blue oval this time around.

Did they replace your heads when you studded it. My tech said they are pretty much replacing them every time they do head gaskets cause they are warped. Could be your heads wont sit flush. I got 10,000 on my studs pulling heavy loads no coolant used since done. Despite all the problems love the truck will pull like none other.

Well im getting my F-350 out of the shop tomorrow I went ahead and had ARP studs put on it and had the heads and block refinished only 53k on it and FORD SAID NO TO WARRENTY so its out of my pocket.The big thing is? IS it going to last if I leave the engine stock now?Has anyone put some serious MILES on one with studds or do I have to look for a new truck when it get's out....?

Why did they void your warranty? I would have been an absolute raging savage if they had denied my warranty based on a well known/documented problem.
