DJ vs Innovative tunes ???

I have talked to both and both seem bad ass. I would like to know what yall think of each. So far I like Innovative more but from what I understand you have to pay $165 more for about the same tunes. If I am wrong or out of line please let me know. Thanks.

Re: DJ vs Innovative tunes ???

We can't discuss pricing on here, but please check out our website for current pricing. We're pretty much in line with the rest of the custom tuners and I'm sure you'll be satisfied with the tuning.

Thanks.

Re: DJ vs Innovative tunes ???

You guys are both in my neck of the woods. I'm like 20 min from Diamond head. I live in Slidell. I had my lift installed over at Performance Offroad in Gulf Port by Chris Montgomery.

Re: DJ vs Innovative tunes ???

While I can't vouch for DJ's tunes (although I've heard good things) I can definately speak volumes on Innovative Diesel and Eric's tunes. Was in your same quandry a little over a month ago and after much consideration I went with Innovative. I can tell you with confidence that I have NOT been sorry I made that decision! Eric's customer service and tunes are second to none! Way above and beyond what many would consider "good" customer service in this day and age, honestly! He will earn your business and your truck will put a smile on your face every time you drive it. Eric's transmission tuning flat out blows the off the shelf tuners away and the power is incredible with Xtreme tunes! I run the standard STREET tune every day (found it yields the best mileage for me) and it makes more power than many off the shelf tuners do on their highest level! Worth every penny in my opinion and if I had it to do over again, I'd make the same decision. Good luck!

Re: DJ vs Innovative tunes ???

I am going to throw my vote to DJ. I have tried another vendor's tunes, and just was not happy with the shifting. I contacted DJ and he asked a whole lot of questions regarding my truck(The other vendor did not do that). I got the tune installed and I just love it. Truck drives great. Everything seems stock until you decide to step into it and you can easily pull a hill without down shifting; whereas stock it normally would of had too. You can just feel the power!

Re: DJ vs Innovative tunes ???

The only complaint I have with Eric's tunes is my rear tires only lasted 15000 miles Eric and Ted have both been more than helpful with my tunes. This is the second tuner I have had from innovative and have had multiple tunes with each.

Re: DJ vs Innovative tunes ???

I got my tuner from Innovative with the Extreme Race file. I felt like I was blowing too much smoke. So I got DJ's Looney Tune. It smokes less and feels alittle more stout.

Re: DJ vs Innovative tunes ???

I have DJ's tuner and have the street, looney and looney looney, i run street all the time, its has just enough smoke and a ton of power with great streetability, if i know i am gonna be goin where this is a lot of show off i usually just put it on looney, its a huge step up, with a lil more smoke and a lot more power, if i really wanna just blow anything off the road, and u have to be careful with this tune, i used the looney looney, DALPilot, can vouch for this. DJ's toons are WICKED and DJ and Vivian are so nice and easy to work with, they always bend over backwards for ya to help you out and are just great all around, knowledgable ppl.
