DPPI vs MBRP Cat back Exhaust ??

In the Cat back exhaust is there a difference in these. I know of the differences in the down pipe on the Turbo
back, but what of the other parts

Thanks,
Bill

Re: DPPI vs MBRP Cat back Exhaust ??

From what I have read the DPPI Turbo back has addional machining where the down pipe meets the turbo. However
if I am incorrect( for the 1st time ) I feel
sure I will be corrected.

Re: DPPI vs MBRP Cat back Exhaust ??

BAF250,

The DPPI systems were until recently equipped with a CNC turbo collar, we dropped it due to the cost of the collar and installation of it to the down pipe, it had to be PERFECT when welded or there would be a mis match during installation etc. We currently use the same heavy gauge stamped collar that MBRP uses on all of their Ford systems. The cost problems were basically associated with the recent explosion in pricing wars on exhaust systems. 6 months ago a 409 system would have cost you somewhere around 700-750.00, now they are in the 400-450.00 range and a 20.00 + dollar collar was a real hurt on the margin side as I am sure you can imagine etc. Of course you still get all the customer service from us or any of our distributors that you have always been getting so let us know if we can help you.

Mark @ DPPI
