Edge Attitude with juice-display bad

My attitude gauge when in monitor mode wont display a dark enough screen to see during the day, won't adjust already tried, emailed Edge told $100 to look at it and if it couldn't be repaired then who knows so I thought maybe about upgrading display as I want to keep juice.

I wonder what new Edge product will work with my juice-3 position switch, and let me display water temp-oil temp-transmission temp, I have a Exhaust temp, sensor in exhaust manifold with the current Attitude...bought it in 2004

I guess I can get an Edge insight and just use my juice 3 position switch manually, I know everyone recommends the SCT tuner but I have had the juice for over 6 years and have had no problem and don't want to blow any more money than I have to, does anyone know if the exhaust sensor that works with the Attitude will work with the Insight ???

Called Edge about sensor EGT probe for Attitude won't work with Insight as it requires an electronic style probe, etc.. so if I go with Insight will have to buy new probe.

Update I took a screwdriver and tapped on the bottom of the unit and screen is dark enough to see again, I always said a good mechanic only needs a hammer and a screwdriver and he can fix anything, LOL

I had already banged on it everywhere else except the bottom

If you end up needing it I have an extra Attitude monitor. I switched to the A2
