well I bought one. I bought it so I could see accurate mph. Is there a way to set revs per mile on the insight? After searching thru menus I have not found anything. all I have seen is the gear calculator on pc but no way to apply is to the device. Next I will be buying the egt gauge.

To those who are using what parameters are you viewing and what are they good for. There are so many to pick from, some are self explanatory what they are for but some I do not know or understand. And then there are some that I would like that it doesn't have.
Oil pressure, fuel pressure, correct mph for bigger tires, hpop pressure. They have all those other sensors in there that us diesel guys don't need!

Hey Eric at ID what parameters are you guys using on your shop trucks. My truck is stock but I like to know whats going on and see the difference when I start to upgrade.

First EGT, then catback exhaust(want to keep warranty intack), later SCT ID

I have to put money into my snowhawk. Anyone looking for a yamaha apex mtn. with nitrous?

I have had two and still cant get to work right and been told from the EDGE techs to talk to someone over at the MSD forum site.
I find it strange that the EDGE people cant tell what works on it for my truck.
So I just put things in and then go see if it works or not. Sorry cant really answer your question.

Whats up nobody using one? I have been reading and understanding more about what to watch but no one has chimed in on what they watch and why. I have read engine oil cooler blocked will read higher engine oil temps.
I just got my oasis and have seen that egr cooler has been replaced twice, oil cooler and heads once, and turbo cleaned at the same time 28,000 miles on it. I now own it and have 37000 on it. I have the insight and have the coolant filter kit in the box. Hope they aren't going to try and void my warranty if I put this on!

Future will be egt, cat back, and SCT-ID! I want to see how reliable this truck is first. I had an 05 with banks 6gun, only problem I had was injectors. Solved that with Stanadyne fuel additive. I currently run the same in my new to me truck now.

I use my insight for EGT's, trans temp, turbo psi and RPM's. Although the unit stopped working one day on the way to work. Edge is replaceing when I get around to sending it to them. Other wise I think it works well for what it does.
